About This Book

"Lana is not blonde, and certainly not stupid." In reality, it's clear from the first page that she is an undercover brunette, but co-writer Samuel de Motelaer needs to read the whole book before he finds out. Of course, like all of his colleagues, this boring accountant at the European Union in Brussels cannot resist Lana's beauty. When Lana gives him a secret DVD, Samuel is convinced she loves him too. As a result of their perceived relationship, he realizes that she has uncovered a crime orchestrated in America and even greater than the credit crisis. Because of its wide-ranging effects, he decides to publish the story. Dumb Blonde is the second novel from the Dutch writer Benn Flore translated into English. Flore started his writing career with a popular math book and television scripts for Dutch comedians. His contemporary novels are written for English-speaking readers. Flore bases his stories on major world issues and often sets them in Europe and the United States. His first novel, Three Religions, One Killer, won the smaller Dutch Roosevelt University version of the international Roosevelt Four Freedom Award.
