About This Book

This hilarious micro-fiction children's story is dedicated to my Down's syndrome son. He enjoys making duck sounds and outrageously funny faces. Duck Boy goes down under, to Australia, and discovers strange similarities and stark differences. He learns valuable lessons that increase his understanding and broaden his perspective. He makes new friends in a land far from his home. He notices that everyone there is different. He learns that everyone there sees him as the one who is different. I made up this story for my son when he was about two years old. He is seven as of the time of this publication. This story is a prequel to another story I composed for him at the same time, titled Platypus Boy on the Duck Farm.
