Driving Towards Disaster: Survival of the Best Prepared

How could this post apocalyptic tale of driving to a disaster get any worse? After a mega hurricane impact and an existing major pandemic threatens the Gulf States, it looks like it will shut humanity down in the good old U.S.A.. The author adds the impending doom of governmental martial law imposed, societal collapse based on economic and food riots and the hero is not home yet as an oil spill makes its presence known. Book two of this trilogy paints a foreboding fictional picture of a possible and all too likely true scenario of a "what if" Armageddon. Do what? Do more Preps? Maybe we don't and die.
