Drink This Cup

"It is finished!" Suddenly the ground trembles, and around the base of the cross, boulders split. The spirit-form of Jesus flies beneath the earth, violently crashing through the Gates of Sheol. In the Place of the Dead there is a moment of shocked silence. Yeshua-Jesus lays within the broken gate, as unresponsive as any deceased man. Then an evil cheer rolls through the blackness of that place. The Prince of Evil steps forward and places his foot on the remains of his Creator. He mocks. "This is my body-Ha! It decays in a tomb. This is my blood-Ha! It has been wasted on the ground like spilled wine. This is my deliverance-Ha! Who can he deliver now?"
