it's 2014, and feisty, local drama queen Patty Morgan loves Joshua Kindle, but after Joshua disappears for six months he comes back to Bennt claiming a knock in the head is what compels him to say odd things. Their attraction sizzles and woe betide any of the local barfly buckle bunnies who try to take him away from Patty even if Joshua is talking goofy. Her hero has always been that cowboy, but he if thinks hail the hearty crowd is a prelude for girding his loins, he's got another thing coming.
Everybody in Bennt puts their two bits to help them and Patty's in even deeper trouble. Patty's never considered any man but Joshua Kindle, until the bullets start flying. Cowboys are forever, but how long can she live with regency tourettes?
Until she gets kidnapped by an old enemy. If she survives the horrific ordeal, Joshua is going to be told what is what because he's not going to get away from her.
