All myths have a basis in historical events. Have you ever asked: ** Did Merlin really exist? ** Why do so many cultures have a myth involving dragons? Dragons and wizards are not who you think they are. Dragonverse Origins is a unique mixture of fantasy and science fiction set in our historic past. The story will tell you how these myths began. =============== "Milus!" his father yelled. "Run!" Looking toward his father, Milus saw him pointing into the sky. When he turned his head to see what was there, he saw the dragon swiftly heading toward him, front claws fully extended, ready to snatch him up and carry him away. Dropping his sack of berries, he started running for the shelter of the woods. He didn't get more than 10 feet before his right foot struck a rock causing him to fall flat on his face. Before he had a chance to get back on his feet, he felt the rush of wind and a thump as the dragon landed right behind him. Milus turned and looked straight into the eyes of the most fearsome creature he had ever seen. But instead of attacking, the dragon simply stared back.===============This is the story of Milus, and how he became a legend in two universes.
