Dragon River

As the Yangtze twists and turns through mountainous regions of Szechuan and Hubei provinces, it passes through the spectacular Three Gorges. Here the Chinese government plans to build a vast dam – but there is a threat to the scheme, a threat which has been kept a secret for many years… At the heart of the story are Lilly Wu and Preston Murphy, American chief consulting engineer on the project. Their romance is the key factor in a dramatic attempt to avert a major environmental and human disaster.
