The year is 121 AD, the Roman Empire has fixed its borders and built Hadrian's Wall separating the north from Romanized Gaul. For the construction a community is forcibly relocated, within there is a young woman with nothing left to lose named Eiren. Even with their wall in place the Romans still push north.
