Down Side Up

Mark Nicholson is a handsome, unemployed man in his mid-fifties. His wife of twenty-six years dies of cancer, leaving him lost. Just after his wife's funeral, Mark wins thirty million dollars in the Florida lottery. Breaking all bonds with his former life, Mark buys his dream house on the Gulf of Mexico and moves into an apartment while his house is renovated. After one chance encounter with his neighbor, Abbey Smith, Mark's life turns downside up. Abbey Smith is an attractive woman in her early thirties from a small town in Alabama. Having suffered through a failed marriage, she relocated to Bradenton, Florida, to be near the Gulf beaches she loves. Her stressful management job at a banking operation leaves her few opportunities to find Mr. Right. But one Friday afternoon she introduces herself to her new neighbor, Mark, and discovers how quickly torrid romance can blossom.
