Conrad was use to being an outcast. The visions began at three years old and it didn't take long, even at this young age for him to be ostracized from society. School was a torture all its own. The other children picking on him caused his father to teach him self-defense, and he was good at it. In his high school years he could hold his own with bullies. He'd taken out as many as eight, that had ganged up on him. But a girl? He hadn't a clue what to do about this new quandary! Misty was the prize of the high school, now she wanted to talk to him, of all people. This had been a bizarre day, and all he wanted to do was go home.
