About This Book

The Dora the Explorer Musical Pop-Up Treasury invites children to join Dora and Boots on five magical, three-dimensional storybook adventures. Children will delight in the interactive fun as they turn each page to engage 10 cleverly crafted pop-up scenes. They'll want to press the sound button to sing along to "Travel Song" again and again.

The book is presented in a book-within-a-book format. Miniature illustrated story spreads on each page of the Dora the Explorer Musical Pop-Up Treasury tell five adventurous tales. Each page spread opens to a pop-up scene that brings the storybook adventure to life. "Travel Song" lyrics are printed at the start of each story so readers can sing along to the familiar tune. Children ages 3 to 5 will jump into the following adventures:

  • Dora's Magic Adventure
  • Dora's Enchanted Castle Adventure
  • Dora Helps the Little Duckling
  • Dora Saves Gingerbread Boy
  • Fairytale Dora's Magic Wand Adventure

A colorful three-dimensional scene pops up every time children turn the page, jumping out of the storybook and into the child's imagination. Pop-up scenes include:

  • A giant crocodile emerges from an enchanted lake.
  • Dora and Boots find gold at the end of a rainbow.
  • An enchanted garden blooms.
  • A shooting star lights up the Fairy Forest.
  • Fairytale Dora soars through the sky on a unicorn.

This durable book has a heavy, cushioned cover with shiny design accents, and sturdy, thick cardboard pages. The Dora the Explorer Musical Pop-Up Treasury conforms to the Specifications for Toy Safety of ASTM F963-07. It has been safety tested for children 18 months and older. Three replaceable long-life AG-13 button cell batteries that power the book are included.
