Don't Forget to Die

Having ditched a cheating husband, Charlie Plato has had it with romance and is determined to dodge the advances of her business partner Zack Hunter, even if he does look devilishly handsome in the tuxedo he's wearing at her best friend's wedding. The last thing she expects on this day of new beginnings is a violent ending. But when a man named Victor Smith shows up dead in a local storage facility, and her friend Angel Cervantes is named as a primary suspect in the murder, Charlie is soon stepping out of her formal wear and into the investigation.

Chasing down the facts of the case with Zack, Charlie learns that Victor's untimely death has some disturbing connections to Angel's past. In spite of this, she's convinced Angel is not the murdering kind and sets out to prove it. As she gathers up suspects--each of whom had reason for wanting Victor dead--Charlie also discovers that someone is bent on repeating the crime. Only this time, it will be a certain interfering sleuth who is put in permanent storage...
