Meet Miles
He's street smart. Well-groomed. Adorable. And completely irresistible to women, men, and the occasional Yorkshire Terrier. That's because Miles is eleven pounds of very cool, very loved dog. Or at least he was when he was living happily with his adopted "pack," Jen and Bob. It was Jen and Bob who adopted Miles from a rough New York City shelter and set him up in their Upper East Side apartment, making him part of their family. It was a good life: walks in Central Park. Chinese food. Destroying the odd piece of lingerie. Watching that weird human mating ritual. Yeah, good times, good times...
But then she showed up. Chloe, the dachshund with attitude, and her owner, Valerie, the one with the agenda. Suddenly, the little Jen-Bob-Miles pack was in big trouble. Slammed doors. Drunken phone calls. Packed suitcases. Summers in the Hamptons with the dachsund's conniving owner.
