Dog Days of the West

Welcome to the first Wishbone Super Adventure —a story about the WiId West, and a hero big enough to tame it.

When a dishonest television news reporter tries to destroy Wanda Gilmore's reputation, Wishbone yearns for the days of the Old West when honor was king and everybody knew that "a dog's word was his bond." Our courageous canine imagines himself as "Long Bill" Longley, a western hero from O. Henry's great book Heart of the West. As "Long Bill," Wishbone finds himself facing a city-slicker bank examiner who is trying to ruin him. At the same time, one of the wildest and most dangerous bad guys in the West decides to shoot up the town. With ornery bankers and angry gunslingers on the loose, there's only one dog tough enough to take them on—and his name is Wishbone. So, get ready for a fistful of laughs and excitement in this great western adventure!
