Doctor in Plaster

With three months to spare before her midwifery course, Nurse Caroline Hurst takes a private post. She likes nursing her patient, Fay Warner, who lives at beautiful Wycholme Manor, but is horrified when Fay's cousin, Dr. Scott Sutcliffe, Wycholme's owner, proves to be the rude man she had earlier encountered so disastrously. Scott is injured in a car accident and Caroline has to cope with a new and very demanding case.
Doctors make notoriously bad patients, but surely this does not explain Scott's excessive irritability? After she realizes her exasperating patient has stolen her heart, how can Caroline possibly stay?
