Distant Love

When a fiery tragedy strikes the close-knit community of Rocky Bluff, Montana, residents once again come together. At the center of the "support team" is Edith Dutton, who, with her husband, Roy, has shown family, friends, and strangers the strength of love in the mature years.

Retired school librarian Rebecca Sutherland, another respected member of the community, is determined not to just sit there and feel sorry. Although she is preparing to leave for a two-year position in Guam, Rebecca and fire chief Andy Hatfield attempt to unravel the mystery of the fire.

Through ensuing times of outrage and loneliness, Rebecca and Andy discover romance and real love after age fifty can happen for them too. Yet will their love become as distant as Rebecca's island home, or will it continue to flourish, guided only by the Lord?
