About This Book

Parsons Point lighthouse on the Atlantic coast is home to cousins Dana and Tyler and to Project Neptune, a volunteer group started by Danas parents that works to protect the environment and rescue sick and injured sea animals harmed by human carelessness.

Dana works hard for Project Neptune and is committed to keeping the ocean safe for the creature of the sea. But her cousin Tyler, just recently arrived from Alaska, has made friends with the Mote twins, whose father is a commercial fisherman and always at odds with environmentalists. It looked like the two sides would always be enemies--until a huge oil spill threatens the life of the sea animals and the fishing industry. Now Dana, Tyler and even the Mote family, are working side by side in a race against time to clean up the deadly slick before it spells disaster for both animals and humans.
