Dirty Money

Ray Ramecker, PI, is used to dealing with low-lifes: cheating wives, deadbeat dads, and criminal CEOs. So when an interesting new case falls in his lap, he's intrigued. A wealthy socialite from the town's best-known family needs help finding the son she gave up for adoption thirty-two years ago. The woman is desperate to find her son, so to sweeten the pot, she tells the world that there is a twenty-million-dollar inheritance to be had. Three men step forward, but two are immediately ruled out. That leaves Finn McCoy, a struggling writer with the body of a model and a conniving, money-hungry sister. Ray needs to investigate Finn long and hard to find out if he's the man he's been looking for. A chance encounter between the two leads to unexpected romance, and both men must examine what they really want from the other, and from life in general. Is Finn really the heir? Or is desire preventing the detective from discovering the truth?
