Diplomacy's Stepchild

The misadventures of the Ic'nichi diplomatic herd continue as they are dragged kicking and screaming into a new interstellar crisis. The humans have met another alien race, who warn of a pending invasion by yet another alien race. The Ic'nichi and human fleets are far from ready for war, so they must join forces for the common defense. The result is about what one would expect: political intrigue, misunderstandings, personal squabbles, and good intentions gone disastrously awry. The alien invaders may have to wait their turn, as the Ic'nichi are soon at each others throats!
