Digging Up the Past

Attempted kidnapping, a few murders and a missing spade - a spade that holds a lot of supernatural power. Riley and her partner, Jason, work for the clandestine government agency, DUE, where their supernatural heritages and psychic abilities are put to use solving cases that deal with the supernatural. Cameron is an alpha werewolf who runs Cerberus Security, the company in charge of keeping the archeologists who found the spade safe. Accustomed to being in charge, he doesn't plan to risk everything he's built for a shape shifter, even one as competent and attractive as Riley. Riley finds it a lot easier to focus on catching the bad guys than to take a chance with her heart. She won't make the mistake of trusting again, especially not Cameron. Together they must find the spade of Apocatequil, believed to raise the dead and grant the holder immortality, before someone can use it to destroy the world.
