LAPD Lieutenant Devin Macgregor has been chasing the same notorious crime boss, CJ Cortex, all over Los Angeles for years. When Devin finally closes in, he and his partner, Officer Cummings, take some hard, fatal shots. When Devin goes after the shooter, he runs into a Spanish goddess named Isabella. She is a beautiful woman with the devil's tongue and temper. Isabella grows attached to Devin and eventually she tells him that she is in fact the wife of CJ Cortex, and she was running from him when she ran into Devin. Devin is a hard man with a sad and hard past, but Isabella wants to break down the walls that he has spent years building and get to the ruggedly handsome and passionate man that he's been hiding inside himself.
