After surviving a shoot-out in Nogales and the scorching hot waters of a hidden subterranean abyss, Jack "Diamondback" McCall is on the hunt for an ancient Anasazi relic. On this quest, which takes him to a cave, deep in the Grand Canyon, he discovers the clue to finding an even greater prize, Aztec gold on a sunken island, lost for thousands of years.
Jack heads for the Mexican coast along with Dakota Dan, his trusty sidekick, and Fawn, his clever and beautiful Indian love. These three adventurers are not the only ones who seek this treasure, however, and Jack is wanted in Mexico "Dead or Alive."
Up against pirates, the Mexican army, and a violent storm at sea, it's going to take a lot more than Jack's famous lightening draw to get him and his compatriots safely home again.
