When Ian MacKenzie, known to his friends and acquaintances as Mac, rescues Madeline Spenser from a desperate purse-snatcher who leaves her unconscious on Bourbon Street, he finds himself under a spell. Something about the sexy, long-legged, damsel-in-distress with the prickly personality puzzles him and draws him to her. With mystery circling them, they begin a tumultuous affair and Mac finds himself fighting all sorts of unknown enemies for Maddie. The problem is, she doesn’t know that her danger comes from the Devil’s Secret she holds.
