Devil's In The Details

Grok had been a scout in the Border Wars for nearly twenty years. Twenty years of selling his bow and sending winged death to countless foes. But even orcs get old. Even orcs get tired of the killing. And a sheriff's position in a sleepy country town seemed like just the thing to keep a roof over his head without any more battles.

But sleepy country towns have their share of troubles and when one reminds Grok of a disaster he'd seen before, he knows he's outclassed. Outclassed but that has never made him back down before. He must gather to him whomever he can trust; his deputy Lizt and his horse Urgh and give everything he has left to defeat this new evil. Or die trying.
