Destiny's Arrow

This is Prince Jonathan's story, son of King Saul, and Crown Prince of Israel. Beginning life as a shepherd, he and his brothers hope for the day they can join the local militia. Saul's eldest son makes friends easily and is liked by everyone in the village. From the moment his father learns that the Lord has chosen him to be king, Jonathan's life and that of his family will never be the same. Eager to learn the ways of a warrior, Jonathan soon enlists in his father's army. He and his father will fight side-by-side and eventually his two brothers also join them. When the prince falls in love with the beautiful Adina, their marriage and eventual birth of a son assures Jonathan of his succession to the throne. A casual encounter with a red-headed shepherd from Bethlehem will not only alter the course of Jonathan's life, but will ultimately bring the two men into an everlasting friendship. The fate of both princes will be determined by the flight of an arrow which ultimately shapes their destinies.
