I mean, sure, I'd had unprotected sex with Damien. Those were the terrible facts of the matter. But only twice, and at the end of my cycle. Could that even result in a pregnancy?

There was probably nothing to worry about. Then again, what if there was? Was I ready for this?

I mean, obviously I'd been thinking about it ever since Damien laid out his evil little deal. If I was pregnant, it meant an extra million dollars, ready to change my life forever.
