Young, beautiful and talented, Heather Kerr has found success quickly as a television presenter. She is about to make it into the 'National' big time when an illness to her friend and TV director, Alec Seaton, changes her life dramatically. Luke Barron, a high-flying freelance programme maker, is brought in to take over and, perhaps promote the programme to the National network
