A tall blonde Texan with an eye for quality and a taste for the offbeat, Dallas O'Connor has a sterling reputation in the fashion ad business. Now, in the midst of a blast-furnace summer, a glamorous fashion shoot in deliciously cool Seattle sounds like heaven. The pay is almost too good to be true. The need for sky-diving experience seems a bit quirky. But Dallas is willing to overlook a few flapping red flags...until a top male model in a sabotaged Porsche plunges into the Pacific.

Soon rumors are flying that the Mob is involved, and suspicions are developing faster than a Polaroid. Dallas has her own ideas about the feuding designers and their brooding manager...the enigmatic lingerie model...the mysterious man calling her.
