Newly licensed P.I. Kit Lockwood is determined to solve her first big case, a baffling puzzle that involves a series of robberies at big society parties. Unfortunately, Kit must work with seasoned security expert Linc Taylor, a man whose take-charge attitude challenges her independence. Linc's not thrilled about having a novice for a partner either. But since neither is the type who would back down from a challenge, they agree to work together.
