About This Book

Bounty hunter Josh Slade, who also works with the U.S. marshal's office, is asked to attempt to pick up the trail in northern New Mexico of murderous bank robbers who have escaped from the jail in Trinidad, Colorado. Action begins when he does just that in the little town of Abbott. Action intensifies even more when he is joined by a beautiful young Mexican woman with a personal vendetta after the surviving outlaw escapes with the help of locals who want to share his loot, but instead of gold they are rewarded with lead. Slade and the young woman chase the ruthless outlaw along the Canadian River in his flight towards the Raton Pass. Along the way they face the dangers of not only him, but of others outside of the law whom he enlists to eliminate his pursuers with empty promises to share his loot. There is action at every turn, concluding with poetic justice.
