After a car accident two years ago, medical opinion was that Gina Travers would end up in a wheelchair, never being able to go back to the veterinary work she loved. Against the odds Gina had recovered, and determined to resume her career, had been taken on as locum at the practice owned by the attractive Ben Cassell.

Gina has something to prove to herself and to Ben. She had to convince them both that she was up to the job. She also had to convince herself that she should ignore the attraction that was smoldering between them. Which was easier said than done…
