Deception

With their greatest enemy finally defeated, Lela looks forward to moving on with her life and enjoying her marriage to Gallard. Jordan has reclaimed his title and busies himself with renovating his family estate, which he plans to share with the newlyweds. Just when everything seems well, a killer strikes in Florida, and all signs lead Lela to believe the victims are vampires. Unable to ignore the crimes, Lela teams up with a new friend to try and smoke out the killer. But as the body count rises, she begins to realize this may be bigger than she can handle on her own.
