What looks like a direct attack against North Korea during an annual U.S./South Korean training exercise has jeopardized crucial peace talks and threatens to light an Asian powder keg. Suspecting an elaborate hoax to discredit America, the President dispatches Mack Bolan to identify the key players and stop the conspiracy.

Once behind enemy lines, Bolan stumbles on to a covert alliance between a high-ranking member of the ruling party and a Japanese power broker prepared to finance all-out war in the Southeast Asian theater. The final assault is set for the peace talks, where 40,000 U.S. troops, along with the entire city of Seoul, will be nuked--and America will take the fall.
