Death of a Postmodernist

At the Capelli Foundation for Postmodern Art, visitors expected the unexpected. One exhibit featured a hall of mirrors that trapped helpless viewers inside. Another artist was preparing an avant-garde performance piece -- which might or might not involve a guillotine.

So it isn't as bizarre as it may sound that several hundred people saw the dead body at the Capelli before anyone realized it wasn't art...

San Diego Public Radio reporter Margo Simon was supposed to interview, not investigate. But when the beautiful, eccentric young artist Susana Contreras was found dead at the gallery opening, Margo couldn't help getting involved. She found Susana's fellow artists intriguing, to say the least. And now she wonders if one of them thinks murder is just another way of making a statement...
