Death Comes to a Small Town

The small, cozy town of Norman, Arkansas is suddenly thrust into the media spotlight when a prominent attorney from the Little Rock Prosecutor's Office is found murdered with his body dumped in a vacant building with a collapsed roof in the town square. Prosecuting Attorney Andrew Buckner, shocked at the brutal death of one of his associates, sends Investigator Denzil R. Montgomery to the town to assist the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in the investigation. Along the way, Denzil with his knack for sniffing out trouble, comes upon evidence that opens the doors to far bigger complications, drawing the attention of a mysterious group of men who have quietly descended upon Norman, trying to solve a mystery of their own. The plot thickens as Denzil seems to be in over his head.
