It will only listen, for in silence there are no lies, only truths to be read between the lines. It asks for nothing from you but a page and some ink, and in return, it will guard your secrets and withhold judgment. But trust the diary as you trust the stranger, for you can hide the soul you lay bare from all but those with prying eyes.
