About This Book

Joe Brock is just an average guy, or so it appears. He's tall, rather nice looking. He travels a lot. His mode of transportation is whatever is available at the time. If hitchhiking is the only option, he's not above taking that route. It's not so much that Joe likes to travel as the fact it is something done out of necessity. Whereas some men's occupation requires travel, Joe's avocation requires keeping on the move. In fact, it's not a good idea to hang around after practicing his pastime. See, Joe has a small vice. His hobby is killing. Serial killing. He is a sadistic serial killer. Oftentimes, he is inept in the process. Regardless of his success or failures, so far he has managed to slip away. Not only does he leave the scene, but also the city of his crimes. He has been on the move for several years. Finding himself in Key West, he wouldn't mind staying there for a long time. However, old urges arise and he is forced to run again. Although he had driven to Key West, failing to maintain his vehicle, he is without a car. Despite making good time hitchhiking out of the Keys, it appears his luck has run out in the town of Sebring. After standing by the road for what seems an eternity, a motorcyclist offers him a ride. With a torrential storm in the brewing, the benevolent individual also offers to let Brock spend the night at his antiquated mobile home. The biker, a truck driver by trade, is unexpectedly called to work in the wee hours of the night. The next morning Brock leaves the man's girlfriend and close acquaintance near death. Again, he flees the scene. This time his transportation is a stolen motorcycle. In route to West Palm Beach on the stolen bike, he encounters a sorted group utilizing the same means of transportation. He is invited to join them. Later, the leader, a corpulent as well as unsavory character, introduces him to the world of contraband. The ensuing runs to Miami not only provide substantial income, but a cornucopia of potential victims. In order
