It's sure not prime time for smart, sassy actress Jocelyn--Josh to her friends--O'Roarke. She's out of work, her old boyfriend's getting married, and she's spending way too many hours on the couch watching the late late show. So she's thrilled when an old friend asks her to come out to Hollywood to work on a television movie.

But no sooner does Josh arrive on the set than the director of photography turns up dead. And as she follows a twisted trail of motives in search of the killer--with the help ruggedly handsome and decidedly heterosexual hairstylist Jack Breedlove--Josh discovers that on this pic the hottest action's off-camera.
