      About This Book

      A traveler is captured by Indians and left to die in the desert but survives. On his way back to civilization, he comes upon an arroyo where a gold miner has been murdered by Indians. He files on the claim and becomes very wealthy from it. An earthquake causes mining at the claims to be very dangerous but his generosity causes a wave of generosity to others.
