Most know their parents and the circumstances of their birth. But for many even that is veiled in a shroud of mystery.
Dawn on the Northern Plains is a fictionalized account of a birth family search. It is set during the period of the Vietnam War at a time when secrecy was still the dominant culture surrounding adoption. Much of the story has basis in fact.
