Darkness

In a world filled not only with humans, but vampires, werewolves, mages, ghouls, zombies, shades, shadows, and even dragons, you'd think fitting in would be easy. That is not so for Vara Selvaratnam, a teenage girl with some crazy abilities, whose closest friends are an ancient dragon and Balthazar, an ordinary teen guy for whom she has some strong feelings. Vara isn't in a very good situation. Everyone either doesn't like her or is out to get her. Plus, she's combating issues with her past and how it and her feelings for Zar could affect both their futures.
