Dark Side of Heaven

When lives are lived in a parallel fashion, who really knows what's right or wrong? For Lisa, a small town white girl, having privileges that others do not have has never really crossed her mind. But the world is cruel, even in Heaven, and after meeting Lynn, a young black girl, Lisa realizes for as much as they are different, they are the same in many ways.Both girls are struggling to overcome painful situations and find comfort in their special friendship. Upon discovering the involvement of people they know caught up in a human trafficking ring, it is up to them to bring the perpetrators to justice. A wonderful warm story of the realization of white privilege, the commonality of strong women, and the structure of family and community in protecting their own.
