People imagine that the authors imagination is invariably at work, as he is perpetually inventing an illimitable supply of occurrences and episodes as he dreams up narratives, pulling conceptions from thin air. Genuinely, the antithesis is true once the public kens that the obnubilate force of art within brings characters and their lives to the author.
