Loren Wells was not simply a computer engineer. She was also a US Customs agent on the track of smugglers who were selling American technology to the highest bidder. Her undercover job took her to Scott Electronics and introduced her to company founder Adrian Scott, himself a prime suspect.

Adrian had a few suspicions of his own, and Loren was their object. He knew she wasn't what she seemed, but what was she? Could she be the leak in security?
