When a man confesses that he is still under the spell of his beautiful, devilish former wife, what chance has his new bride of finding happiness?

This is the question that tortures Marianne as she starts out on a marriage that seems doomed before it has begun; a marriage she rushed into on impulse against the advice of family and friends. She sets out to win back the love that Lance Stratton showed for her during their first meetings.
