Tanglewood, the stable Liz loves, is facing financial ruin. But Liz won't give up, not on Tanglewood, nor on Toshak, the spirited thoroughbred mare, nor on Darren, the boy whose family owns the stable. Tanglewood, and the way of life that goes with it, is about to be sold when Darren's wealthy eccentric uncle leaves him only a riddle as an inheritance.
