Malibu, California, has a reputation of wealth, celebrities, and the ultimate fulfillment of the American Dream. Mansions glitter near the Pacific Ocean, and an endless array of sports cars speed down the magical coastline.

Yet, just down the street, two college students find themselves part of a horror much grander than their dreams. Suddenly, the idyllic countryside is exposed to a secret that sizzles the night sky, and college seniors Elena and Rachel must seek refuge in a terrifying mansion that offers both protection and disaster. It is in this mansion where a collection of Hollywood elite hide from demons both physical and mental, and where Elena and Rachel realize they may not come out of their new reality alive.
