About This Book

Ever wondered what war could do to a human's soul? This is the story of a child who grows up with the tragedy of war all around her. She realizes later in life that remembering the events of the war is her only hope of healing the wounds the war had caused. Through her conversations with her best friend Daniel, she is able to remember the events of the war. But will his love be able to bring her healing? Through their encounters, we learn so much about the heroine's life and the lives of those around her. This is a story of love and remembrance; a story of hope and healing. Nada was born in 1974 in Beirut, Lebanon. She attended school there and graduated from the Lebanese American University with a B.A. in Communication Arts. Nada has lived in the United States since 1999, and for many years has been involved in volunteer work at public schools in Texas. Writing has been her passion since childhood. Maple Creek Media is proud to bring you Nada Bazih’s second novella, Daniel. If you have enjoyed this book be sure to read her first novella, My Heart’s Journey, (published by Old Line Publishing, 2009). My Heart’s Journey is a story of hope for all those who search for love in a sea of darkness.
