Dangerous Assignment

Nora Kane was a star reporter for a famous American news magazine -- but when her romance with her editor-in-chief went on the rocks, she wanted to flee far away from the home office. She jumped at the chance to interview a legendary medical missionary in the remote mountains of South America, and soon Nora found herself on a small steamer moving up the Amazon River. Little did Nora dream that her voyage was heading into a whirlpool of peril and romance. The handsome American first mate of the ship and a dashing doctor vied for her heart, but when a mysterious figure of menace tried to stop Nora from reaching her goal, she did not know which man to trust and which to fear. Nora had to rely on her own courage and trust her own heart to keep this dangerous assignment from being her last.
