Months after dating each other, Ria Martinez and Susannah Halprin feel like they need to take their relationship to the next level. However, a few things are standing in their way. Ria has yet to come out to her own family for starters. She is also finding herself embarking on a new job search. Susannah insists that she should work somewhere else, somewhere better than Lilacs and Vanilla. Ria also finds herself moving towards modeling lingerie for one of her co-workers and realizes that she enjoys it. She spends nights at a burlesque club, making new friends and enjoying her time. Her life is full of opportunities and promise. Now that she has Susannah in her life, everything should be fine. However, a few things are lingering around. Susannah still seems slightly hung up on her ex-girlfriend, CJ. Ria's coworkers seem to get angry at the very mention of CJ's name. It leaves Ria in a very tense situation and she is unsure of what to do next. What is Susannah hiding from her? Will her life ever get sorted? With so many things coming to her at once, it's only a matter of time before some it explodes in her face.
